Set Sail with SHA! All aboard New Year’s Eve 2023-2024!

Join SHA for a 9-day/8-night cruise aboard the Azamara Quest from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Buenos Aires, Argentina, from December 30, 2023, to January 7, 2024. The voyage features stops at iconic locations, including Copacabana Beach for New Year’s Eve, as well as Parati, Ilhabela, São Paulo, and Montevideo, Uruguay. The cruise includes a Premium Beverage Package, five dining venues, and room service.

This program will explore sexual attitudes and behaviors in South America, highlighting Brazil’s large sex work industry and body-positive culture. The course also discusses progressive advancements in gender and sexuality rights, such as Argentina’s legalization of gay marriage and Uruguay’s historical decriminalization of homosexuality. Students will gain valuable insights and a global perspective through this immersive experience.
